“What I Love About Auburn”
Dynamic textile print inspired by the energetic spirit of Auburn University, designed with scarves and pocket squares in mind.
This project was created in collaboration with the Auburn University College of Human Sciences. It draws on the history of the school, the Auburn creed, and the spirit of the Auburn Tigers.
The motifs I created for the repeating pattern included the alabama quilt block in the classic university colors, the Auburn cheer megaphone, and varsity pennants with different Auburn sayings on it.
As a repeating pattern, this print can be applied to many different pieces. To illustrate, it has been applied to t-shirts & polos through Optitex 3D and scarves & bandanas using Adobe Illustrator.
Together these motifs inspire a spirit of university pride and stay true to the Auburn spirit.
